Technical Project Manager Job at Finario, United States

  • Finario
  • United States

Job Description

Technical Project Manager

Finario is a fast-growing, profitable SaaS company providing intelligent capital planning and portfolio strategy solutions to leading industrial enterprises worldwide. A few numbers worth knowing:

  • Revenue is strong and accelerating: Real sustainable growth, not a story built on burn rate
  • Purpose-built product: Finario is one of the first platforms built specifically for enterprise Capex. True specialist focus in one category
  • Trusted by billion-dollar enterprises: Notable clients include Amway, Bausch + Lomb, and Sephora; all run their capital planning on Finario
  • Investing in innovation: Finario has built its own purpose-built AI (Finario Predict) for capital project forecasting and benchmarking, so you'd be joining a product team that's actively pushing the category forward, not maintaining a legacy tool
  • High-stakes work: this is core infrastructure for finance and ops leaders, not a nice-to-have. Our platform directly shapes how enterprises decide where to put hundreds of millions of dollars in capital investment

About the role

We're seeking a Technical Project Manager to coordinate the ongoing development and implementation of our software solutions. The ideal candidate will excel at capturing and synthesizing information from diverse sources and running clear communication processes across the technical teams at Finario. We are open to candidates with a wide range of experience, but this is not an entry level position. Candidates should have at least a few years of professional experience in a technical operation.

What You'll Actually Do

Drive communication processes across engineering, product, design on a daily basis, and facilitate frequent updates and interactions with sales and customer success teams weekly. To do this effectively, you will need to understand the content and subject matter of our work deeply. Some examples of the processes and your role in them include:

  • Planning: drive project plans, considering technical constraints and business objectives.
  • Development: tracking to the plan, identify potential conflicts or bottlenecks early to help facilitate speedy resolution.
  • Document sprint planning, conduct daily stand-ups and retros, ensuring alignment with project goals and facilitating constant process iteration and improvement.
  • Testing: coordinate QA efforts and manage bug triage.
  • Deployment: communicate new releases with client success teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-5+ years of professional experience in software development environments
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and communicate effectively across diverse teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Exceptional communication skills. Ability to navigate and communicate levels of detail to various stakeholders
  • Adaptable to new processes, systems, and software
  • Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipeline
  • Excellent writing skills for maintaining clear project records and documentation
  • Ability to operate on a hybrid basis out of our Stamford, CT (4x/week)

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of Capex processes and corporate finance a plus

What’s in it for you

  • Real ownership over how software gets built and shipped; you're not a note-taker in someone else's process, you're the person driving planning, tracking, and delivery across engineering, product, and design
  • Work on a category-defining product, not a legacy system actively pushing the category forward
  • High-stakes, high-visibility work. The software you help ship is core infrastructure for finance and ops leaders
  • Direct exposure across the full org: engineering, product, design, sales, and customer success all run through you daily, so you're never siloed in one function
  • Benefits: competitive total rewards package including Health, Dental, 401k PTO and more!
  • The little things matter: Fully funded parking (or hop the train, we're right across the street), stunning modern office space
